A1 Level 

Course information

  Course duration: 18 weeks, 2 times a week

  Times: Choose between Saturday and Sunday or Tuesday and Thursday

  Level: Adult – A1 Level

  Language: Arabic, English

  Target group: Adult beginners without any prior knowledge of Arabic.

What you want to master after completing the course

  Listen:

Understand familiar words and simple expressions about oneself, family and close surroundings.

   Read:

Understand familiar names, words and simple sentences.

   Talk:

Engage in simple conversations where the other person is prepared to repeat or paraphrase using slower speech.

   Write:

Write simple postcards and fill in forms with personal information.

Objectives: After completing the A1 course, you will be able to:

Understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases.

Introduce yourself and others, and ask and answer simple questions about personal details.

Participate in simple conversations, provided the interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly.

Recognize and write all Arabic letters in both isolated and connected forms.

Read and pronounce simple Arabic words correctly.

Understand basic Arabic vocabulary and be able to form simple sentences.

Write simple sentences and short messages using Arabic script.

Content:

   Pronunciation and alphabet:

Introduction to the Arabic alphabet and basic sounds.

   Basic phrases and expressions:

Greetings, introductions, numbers, colors and everyday objects.

   Grammar:

Simple sentence structures, nouns, pronouns and basic verb forms.

   Communication exercises:

Simple dialogues and role playing.
